Good to know it’s still moving forward. I thought the project died because I’ve never really heard anything since the initial promotion of it a couple of months back.

I’ve been a Thunder user since day 1 and I agree it’s the best client. I was only forced to temporarily use Voyager for piefed support but now that Thunder is on board as well, I’m back. I do use Voyager on my desktop browser because tablet mode makes it function like Alexandrite, which hasn’t been updated for a while and doesn’t support piefed yet.
I wasn’t able to follow up on the announcement post for piefed support, but since this is a fresh thread: I noticed it throws an error when trying to load nested comments on the 3rd level and onwards. Not sure if that’s one of the current limitations for piefed support but wanted to let you know just in case. Thanks!
But if they do it the “proper” way, they won’t be able to grab the data if instances defederate from them, right? And that’s what the majority of instances will do.
I fully moved to piefed.zip from lemmy.zip. It’s great! Prior to .zip, I was on lemm.ee. I specifically chose .zip when .ee closed down because they have similar policies.
