I signle handedly won games where 4 teammates were straight up feeding and did not want to win. I know this is rare, but this is the reason I will never vote for -ff added to the game.

We can only make wild guesses like “org wanted too much money from the prize”, but until there’s any info from the players themselves, it’s better to wait.

Nah, never happened before. No matter how bad things are going, I can’t even imagine what needs to happen for a team to withdraw from TI. I mean, isn’t TI the apex of esports? I would sell my soul to participate there.

The single line of code I’ve been waiting for years:

Improved performance.

A newly added objective (well it’s been there for a few years I think).

You usually need a whole team to take it down early, and it gives a free aghanims shard to one of the lowest networth heroes is a team (who does not have a shard yet).

Collapse explained in his telegram channel that it’s a lot of steam messages, party invites etc. that make Steam crash.

The patch is so huge I finished reading the changelog just now.

With today’s patch some of this info is wrong, like killing couriers and escaping kinetic field is no longer possible AFAIK.

Valve defender’s version is that they are there because they are still used somewhere, but we as users can’t know where exactly they are used.

I had no issues running the game after truncating those files.

Why are they shutting down?

Just edited the github issue with this info:

• Running find -type f -print0 | xargs -0 truncate -s 0 in game\dota\panorama\videos and game\dota_addons worked, all files are truncated to zero size and game works without any issues.

I run the game with no intro video, if you need intro video, you can keep it, it’s located in game\dota\panorama\videos folder.

Better late than never!
