Hexbear.
Hexbear.
Sounds like coil whining to me too, albeit a pretty loud one. It’s typically GPUs and / or PSUs that are the culprit when they’re under load.
I feel the only thing I don’t see on kbin is 18+ stuff. lol
All the political extreme instances and their users seem to be still there.
Damn furry Nazis.
He’s clearly a tankie. I wonder if lemmy.zip is just as bad as lemmygrad or lemmy.ml.
I know why I went to kbin though. I just have no desire to directly support those developers.
Are domain name approvals nowadays fully automated or are there still people looking over them?
Is that bait? I don’t even want to test it. lol
On the flip side, Ernest said he’d resume working on the official mobile client soon.
It gets better if you block Lemmy.ml. It’s really just Lemmygrad pretending to be more moderate, and failing horribly.
I for one like the added features. Collapsible comments and new comment markers especially (although not the best visual representation maybe). There’s lots of little quality of life things that are still missing. Foe example I would love to see a better handling of comment pages. Having to navigate through the pages is annoying, especially if you get a comment reply notification and it just sends you to the first page, without any indication on which page your comment and the reply is sitting at.
I don’t understand how you find kbin confusing to navigate while also browsing on Lemmy, which has such an obtuse layout. If you’ve used Reddit before, surely you should understand to navigate kbin as well?
I prefer kbin over the tankie shit.
I stopped watching them when they did their climate change video, which was such a corporate greenwashing feelgood bullshit video that I just couldn’t justify it anymore.
Also me during character creation in video games.
Then they might as well merge both instances.
Remember when a bunch of instances banned nsfwlemmy because they allegedly allowed pedo content, when in truth they just decided to not moderate fictional characters where the age was not obvious (like potentially 18, but plus / minus a couple years)?
I think especially Lemmy.ml should rather focus more on cleaning up their Tankie & moderator issues instead of chasing ghosts, because that instance is a toxic cesspool of assholes and disinformation.
That might explain why. lol
You can probably view it in a private tab, but that does confirm that you indeed had contact with those people already.
On a desktop or are you using Artemis or something? It loads fine for me in Firefox. You can try going through the profile of firebreathingbunny, who is the author, I just don’t want to ping them.
Link works fine for me?
Getting rid of hate & extremism is the bare minimum that I would expect a platform to moderate on. Reddit moderated very differently in keeping that in addition to banned those who speak out against it.
I see it on kbin.social.
