Threads did the same thing. Explosive growth followed by silence. Social media grows over time. It’s not a constant gigantic upward slope.
They were more proactive at blocking bots.
That hasn’t been my experience. Unless 18.3 recently changed the situation.
Not an option for me yet. Especially after I found out some instances federate messages slowly. Like up to an hour late slowly.

The threat mainly is a corporation looking to assert itself within the fediverse in an attempt to kill it’s growth with eventual incompatibilities. Personally, I don’t have a dog in this fight, but it’s been interesting to watch.
It really is. But it’s the textbook result of Democrats not voting.
17% of registered voters actually voted for Governor and the Landry got in on 11%. It’s the same across nearly all disticts which has more registered Democrats than Republicans.
People are so disenfranchised and uninformed that they don’t even bother.
