Sugar intake is worth monitoring even in “lower calorie” options.
5k calories are a lot, no doubt, but 180g of sugar in a “coffee” is also wrecking people’s health.
Carbs would not raise blood glucose faster than sugary drinks. The simple matter is the donut needing to be digested first. IDK if it’d be a significant difference, tho.
Also the brain doesn’t do a great job of recognizing liquids as caloric intake, meaning you don’t feel full on the 32oz coffee and will probably have both the coffee AND the donuts lol
