People can like more than one thing. I both like the sweet coffee frappes and i also like plain coffee with a splash of milk. And also liking a food with an ingredient doesn’t mean you don’t like that ingredient just because you don’t like to eat it plain, i love salt but i hate to just eat a spoonful of it. I could say you hate the taste of coffee because you only like it when you massively dilute it in water.

Selfhosted@lemmy.world•Eating Too Much Ultra-Processed Food Can Make You Feel Sad and Anxious: New Study
22·3 years agoNO! This is terrible science reporting! The study doesn’t say it MAKES you sad, the report said it’s ASSOCIATED with being sad. There was NO causation in this study. It could just as easily be that sadness leads to eating processed food, which seems at least as likely as the other way around. And it could equally as likely be that some 3rd factor is what’s causing both the junk food eating and the sadness.
OP if you care at all about being honest and not spreading misinformation then you should delete your blog post and this lemmy post.

Fediverse@lemmy.world•New potential Fediverse-Analogy: Bird Party
10·3 years agoSeems like it adds almost as many confusing things as it takes away. Maybe with some work it might potentially be helpful, but as it stands now I don’t think this’ll help most people understand the fediverse. IMO

I’ve never heard the term touchpad. They’re synonyms, right?
Yup, knock on wood, I’ve had lots of Seagate drives over the decades and I’ve never had any of them go bad. I’ve had two WD drives and they both failed
