3 months agoAs a kid I learnt P = I2R ; P = IE ; P = E2/R by careful selection of resistor values stuck across the 240V house supply and standing well back.

1·3 months agoMy backup tooling just shuts down the container and associated db, then rysncs it all somwhere safe and restarts the container. Am I missing somethoing critical by not doing a db dump in the middle of that?
