- for syncthing. it aint a backup solution. but it makes life simpler
Programmers as it turns out are very ‘eh, the code should explain itself to anyone with enough brains to look at it’ type of people
I cannot say how much I hate this.
even worse for old code where proper variable naming and underscores were forbidden. Impossible to get into someone else’s head.
thats true. when I tried it I even found it more difficult because of the limite. you must trust the scripts and if something does not work its a lot more complicated than setting it up by yourself.
what do you meant with burnt? i thought its even easier than yunohost?
Trying to fix something at night, with a fuming partner who’s already put up with a difficult to use service, because of your want for privacy even though they don’t care care, whilst saying “it should work, I don’t know what’s wrong”, is not a great place to be
I feel those words
Also I am very much impressed how much content this small number of users can generate.
Same with reddit. Almost everyone has throwaway accounts there.
Ill hijack op now.
Can i setup cloudflare tunnel and stil access the server via Lan when I am at home with the same setup?
Like a two entry system?
Probably about the rate, its a free service and money matters.
Just FYI, if you rely in obsidian heyvily on the bidirectional linking feature then trillium will be a pain in the ass.
don’t get the analogue ones, they ticktickticktick.
I agree, in-house/ living room applications NEED silent timers.
For this I would have a plug with timer activated. Just monitor how long it will take to run with one charge and set the timer accordingly.
yes actually this is what I mean. although android is linux, any distro wont run on the device
would gentoo be an option as everything is compilled?
isnt the supported kernel a critical question for most android phones?
what the fuxk is this here?
nice. I am working with voronoi grids too in another field. Is there a source where I can read about your work more in detail?
I am always pro tiddlywiki wherever I see it.
however I have to admit that heavy multimedia support isnt the most ideal thing to do for TW.
and thats what OP asked for.
yeah, I thought about that option however I would like to have my hardware of the server accessible. until I am not upgrading power consumption wise it does not make sense for me to buy a vps.
(neglecting the point about data owning etc)
I really like the idea.
syncthing is a strong recommendation for this. Itll start manually on my host. and then simply sync my files semiautomatically whithout the need of having to run my rpi all the time especially if I still use it to experiment.
