Pixelfed can be used as image hoster likewise, those 2 you mention are proprietary, so if one cared about that, they might prefer Pixelfed

I always thought there was no big difference between link aggregators and forums, and that the first is more an extension of the other, at least it felt like it in my experience. What would you say really sets them apart?

It’s a saner Python package manager, it’s so easy to use (at least at the basic level I need it for) and it actually implements the latest standard for packaging defined by PEP unlike Poetry, both of them are great in their own right though.

It’s not that, it seems like a frontend issue though, I just came back to a Piped tab and I was somehow able to play the video, then I reloaded the page and the video player doesn’t respond to clicks anymore

So it wasn’t just me, though that only happens in my browser, they work fine through Libretube otherwise
