None, if it’s not in a Debian repo I don’t deploy it on my stable server.
It’s not really about docker itself, I just don’t think software has married enough if it’s not packaged properly

I’m no fan of Tankies or the CCP, but I’m really not seeing any more pro-china propaganda than you see elsewhere, mostly excitement as a result of their green tech stuff or HSR (while ignoring why China has a need for HSR)
I am seeing a surprising amount of anti-china paranoia from the UK press right now that frankly seems like it’s engineered by the US given its timing. Like articles about diplomats using burner phones as if that isn’t standard (for all countries).

Outbound firewall and SMAC protections.
If you compromise my server you’ll struggle to phone home without manual intervention, which is good enough to stop botnets.

What do you mean by fediverse data?
What problem are you trying to solve that isn’t solved by BitTorrent and IPFS?
The nice thing about the fediverse is that it’s largely a concept with a few common protocols to make interoperability easier, you can solve pretty much any problem in line with the fediverse, but you do actually need a problem to solve.

I think the issue is putting barriers to legit users even if it prevents some spam will keep us small.

What is the point of “staggered new account permissions”?
At most we should be Autofolding/hiding unpopular comments.

I think there are a few reasons that mean the network effect of music services (YT music, Spotify, etc) are hard to beat:
This is something I’d like to work on when the world isn’t as on fire, I’m less focused on the backend at the moment and think:
None of this really helps artists though, but by breaking the cartel of music services, playlist generation could more easily include sources that do pay artists.

Everyone complaining about matrix are just complaining about front end issues, they are absolutely fixable.

That’s not ironic, people didn’t confuse Reddit for Digg, it wasn’t a even Digg clone nor did it pretend to be one.

I don’t think you can get sued for using a trademark as long as your use doesn’t confuse people into thinking you are the original.
I’m in, anything with less Tankies and less channers is good.
What’s the best instance to use, I assume I can keep my current user and just view posts via piefed.social
