Would have been cool for them to host their own instance with just the one account

The only part I feel confident with right now is safely obtaining the media. I’m fine with that step being manual.

I just don’t get why it’s a big deal, kbin is a beta passion project and forking it is encouraged, why spend your time upset about someone’s project even if it’s chaotic?

It’s weird to advertise yourself like this, just post that you’re welcoming new members for your cool project

Personally I don’t care if I’m talking to millions of people vs hundreds of thousands as long as there are enough people to make it feel alive and like a community.
