At some point you’re just going to need to start shooting the fascists
At some point you’re just going to need to start shooting the fascists
By ripping their legally bought DVDs, surely :P
Yes, but a group of friends could use it to set up a group Jellyfin, sharing their libraries
Competent, too, I bet.
I wouldn’t recommend travelling to the USA either
It’s the other half of the home server that’s giving me docker trouble, the *arr stack; I hadn’t actually gotten to the stage of trying to set Kodi up yet
I have an N100 Mini-PC at home in my living room connected to my TV which is both a home server and a TV-Box using Kodi (I even have a remote for it).
That’s exactly the setup I want, but I’m a little lost. Any good guides you can suggest?
I know generally Linux well enough, but I know fuck all about docker
Sure. Do you have a point?
It seems like the main complaint is that Tailscale is a business. And what about the Linux Foundation?
The Linux Foundation is not a business.
I would guess shitty internet in one or both places making local streaming a better option
Yeah, Bluesky is fake decentralized
Oh yeah, I am in no way arguing in favour of it
To be fair, they didn’t say that they needed more resources for remote streaming
If your goal is truly to benefit the public, why wouldn’t you start a non-profit?
Because your non-profit isn’t likely to go anywhere; Capitalists don’t give significant money to non-profits, but they’ll invest in a public benefit corporation because of the potential for profit. The corporation can then take their money and use it for whatever public benefit it intends to work towards. It’s a workaround to try and scrape some benefit to society out of capital, that otherwise wouldn’t exist.
Whether Bluesky is actually a good example of a public benefit corporation or not, I have no idea, I don’t use it.
I wonder how many of those are bots or paid trolls
While not exactly a bouncer, I like Quassel
Well I use key-based login for security; obscurity just keeps the network congestion down
I like rule 8
