2·2 years agoBitTorrent requires people to be able to connect to each other directly. In a world where almost every home user is behind a router that does NAT, software is no longer able to just open a TCP connection because that requires a publicly open port. I realize that for desktop software some elaborate tricks exist to circumvent this, but how would a website be able to do that?
