Does this break all the various security features that are the reason to use Signal in the first place?

When was the last time you heard about a large government computer outage? (I don’t count the VA because that’s broken on purpose.)
Well, you see, the mistake you are making is believing a single thing the stupid AWS status board says. It is always fucking lying, sometimes in new and creative ways.

18·8 months agoFrom an SEO perspective, federation looks almost exactly the same as spam unfortunately. A bunch of websites with very similar content that all link to each other but aren’t linked to externally very much.

Yes, they relented on that one after tons of ridicule. I used it as an example because that pattern just keeps happening over and over.
They ban discussion of all kinds of normal things, such as Luigi Mangione.
I dunno how I missed that. Thank you! I will be avoiding this community then, unfortunately :(
I have a novice question that wasn’t addressed in the FAQ: is piefed.world associated with/run by the same people/computers as lemmy.world? Or are they unrelated?
I haven’t been there in years but there used to be a “related discussions” link that would show you a list of other places a link was posted.
You need a break from the internet dude. Your behavior and outlook are troubling.
Are you familiar with the concept of volunteer burnout, and are you aware that your current behavior is exactly what causes it? Right here in the fediverse we’re losing lem.ee to burnout, for example.
It’s a hobby forum, not a hospital dispatch line.

That wall of text could be summarized as “but what about the other guys” without addressing a single criticism.
