Call me old, but people should learn to discover music in different ways (friends, press, concerts, etc.) and not wait to be fed by corporations… just a thought.

Jellyfin sucks for music. I tried it several times, hoping it got better, but unfortunately it’s not the case. For the moment I’m still using Navidrome (which I used for the last 3-4 years without problems).

There’s no conflict regarding ports. Each container can have the same ports open. You’re thinking about the host network here, but it’s not the case.

Are you sure both containers (npm and audiobookshelf) are in the same network? I see you don’t specify the network in the NPM compose file.

Check that like this:

$ docker inspect container-name| grep -A3 Networks
            "Networks": {
                "network_name": {
                    "IPAMConfig": null,
                    "Links": null,

See if both your containers are in the same network - they should be.

This is about addressing the containers in docker. It has nothing to do with the local network.

I tested it and it’s not that reliable. At least for me it didn’t let me see events in the future (next 1,2,3 months) and I wasn’t able to modify an existing event, so I gave up. I also don’t have the time right now to open issues in their repo.

Yes… and where are those? I know of agendav and infcloud, both of which are not that good: agendav is not currenly maintained and infcloud is a mess to set up.

Wallabag is nice - it’s making an archive of the page you’re saving and I think you can export it as pdf/epub to read it on any device.

I don’t know about freshrss - I’ve used it a few years ago - but miniflux (another self hosted RSS reader) has integrations with a lot of tools, some of which are bookmark managers. I’ve set up mine with Linkding and it woks just as you described.

I can tell you something: I’m using some free apps on my Android phone and never notice ads at home, but when I’m on the mobile network or on a different wifi (at work or some public place) I start seeing them.

ZFS comes from a plugin in OMV. You have to install omv-extras first, then install the plugin omvextras-zfs. Make sure you also install the proxmox kernel and reboot the server before installing zfs.

Some devices will prompt you to upgrade the firmware and won’t let you do it without internet access, AFTER you’re logged in to their platform.

The “official” repo sucks, to be honest. That’s why people do their own implementations.

I don’t use gmail anymore for some time, but as far as I know, you have to set an “app password” or something like that. Did you set that? Because it won’t work with your normal user password.

Also, you could check the logs Vikunja produces to see what the problem is. Is it really a timeout or maybe something else?
