what? oO
I am the developer of Summit for Lemmy.
what? oO
It’s on my to-do but the process seems annoying potentially so we’ll see. I just wanted to open source the project so there is at least some progress. I was finding myself making long lists of shit to do before I can open source the project but you know what fk those lists and just open source it now. Ask questions later. :D
Hello I’m the developer here. The reason why the readme is completely unhelpful is simple. I wrote it for myself. It was a readme i wrote for myself on how to do certain things LOL.
Probably the best solution short term is to just like yo the website at the very top: https://summit.idunnololz.com/.
Edit: also in my defense the code repo was open sourced less than 24h ago on a whim and I’ve had a few bugs I’ve been trying to tackle all week:

Thank you guys so much 🥲
What. TIL
Hmm I just checked the lemmy.world website and I can see the entire comment chain there as well. Link: https://lemmy.world/post/24942544
I’m using Summit for Lemmy. (I’m also the dev)
I tried looking at the post you linked on the Lemmy.world instance however I used an app. I was able to see each individual post. What this tells me is this is a purely frontend issue as the back end is capable of serving the entire comment section.
See the screenshot below (taken while in the Lemmy.world instance)
Very true. Maybe I should finally check out this “Lemmy” I keep hearing about. /s
Love you guys 💜
Wtf that’s illegal
Trueeeeeee. Then post your ip here so you can recall it later.
Hello! Dev of Summit for Lemmy here. Summit actually supports switching accounts while keeping the same post open. Of course due to defederation it is not always possible to open a post on another account but it tries it’s best.
The reverse Tinkerbell.
I know Google isn’t well liked on Lemmy but I have to say, WebPass is pretty sweet. I was lucky enough to live in a place that was supported by WebPass and the internet was the best I’ve ever had in the US. 600$/yr (50$/mo) for 1Gbps up/down. I had it for ~2 years and my internet service got interrupted like twice in those 2 years. I worked at home too so I was online pretty much all the time.
Hey! I’ll have you know that Comcast and Time Warner are in the fiercest of competitions. They are practically bankrupting themselves while slashing each other’s throats. /s
It’s ok. Compeition will drive down prices! I have so many options with internet such as Comcast
and Company that pretends to compete with Comcast
.
There’s too much stuff to add. I’ll get to it one day :x
