9·1 year agoHow feasible would it be to have levels of federation? Make it possible for instances to partially-federate (if you’re from “your-instan.ce” and its partially-federated with lemmy.world, you don’t see lemmy.world stuff in your feeds, but allow browsing and interacting with “https://your-instan.ce/c/fediverse@lemmy.world”).
Hot take: Algorithmic timelines are cool, provided we can (1) opt out from the default algorithm and (2) plug in our own algorithms
With the fediverse known for its opposition to infinite growth, this feels ironic
I only use Lemmy, so… Lemmy.
