They should also be held accountable and not turn a blind eye to illegal behaviour on their server. If someone uses their server to organise a terrorist attack, they’ve facilitated it.

Kbin gives me an error whenever I updoot a post, but that’s about it.

This isn’t about privacy and data. This is about Meta creating toxic environments and making a profit off encouraging racists and bigots.

I’m really worried that people are this ignorant about Meta/Facebook.

The problem isn’t privacy. It’s how they use the data they get from you to lie to you.
