I’m 24. I didn’t say META is based. I said it’s becoming MORE based.
For example: If META was only 10% based and now it became 20% based - it’s still not based, but it became more based.
Hope this better explains my perspective.
A word used when you agree with something; or when you want to recognize someone for being themselves, i.e. courageous and unique or not caring what others think. Especially common in online political slang.
For example:
META is based for open sourcing their LLM weights.
It’s kind of obvious that Zucc is doing this to be on the “winning side” (Elon’s side).
I don’t think this has anything to do with “divide and conquer”.

Even if we assume that Meta’s policy of loosening up grey zone speech as step in the right direction, it still doesn’t make it “more based”
