They literally didnt pay their under 20$ a year fee for renewal, its their own fault for not having the domain be with the same person managing hosting, it’s like amateur stuff to at least have them be an authorized user.

This is just straight up bad planning, they said they have jobs and lives like bro you turn on autorenew you put money in the card, any local business has no issues holding their domain for a decade lol, how do you just not make having it with the person hosting the site a priority.
Blaming capitalism for domain names being a nightmare is hilarious, they are insanely cheap its 12$ a year for a .com, that is all, lol.
You see comments along with the posts on the feed, ive always wanted to at least see the top comment when scrolling on the reddit feed
I really like friendica, had to reinstall my os for different reasons and am rebuilding it up which is a bit annoying but once the feeds set up its the best way to use lemmy subscribed feed on desktop imo
lmao posting in communtities from my different accounts (not to the same communities, like alts for keeping notifcations on topics seperate) to help build up my future lurking places
tangerine link doesn’t work but thats cool haven’t heard of mangan
They specifically make it harder to change that logo tho, its on purpose, its not in the ui settings by design, wouldn’t be hard to implement (every other image can be changed from admin settings)
I like that about pleroma, can’t seem to login to any mastodon apps with it tho, thought it worked with that api, at least the web interface has tons of customizability
Some sort of icon/logo representing the fediverse on every site could be useful, or maybe different symbols for microblogging, threadiverse, etc. and the site includes what it has at the top or bottom somewhere, prob too late for that
thank you!
yunohost fork must have this enabled
The larger communities like this are more likely to have more instances to show up on their all feed
Just made it yesterday, stuff is just starting to show up more consistently, I made it so I can upload images without issue or so I thought lol. I just used the first one I was logged in on my phone, ill prob keep using this one til im done subbing to more placss, and even then swap between them in case I miss stuff
Is there any website that automatically adds a background/padding to an image when changing the aspect ratio so It doesn’t crop out any content? A bit of a hassle to do for a lemmy post every time.
It’s doing a 16:9 crop (exactly the same edit when checking with photo editor), is there any way to avoid this?

They were in contact with the dude who owns it a few times, wouldve taken minutes to add them as authorized users
