I tried to setup some kinda self hosted AI image generation last month. I didn’t know wtf I was doing and accomplished nothing. Need to give it another try.

Mumla the ever living!

Time to dust off my old Mumble server!

Cancelled mine when they redesigned the mobile app anyway. I don’t want a different interface on mobile vs desktop. I want a unified experience, which was their original purpose.

I use an ancient HTTP File Server program called HFS from Rejetto. Very light weight. Supports making user accounts and whatnot if you want.
I usually just turn it on for a transfer and don’t leave it up these days, but still comes in handy on occasion.

Isn’t it trivial to run both? You just point them at the same library right?

Can anyone explain Bluesky vs Mastodon as Twitter alternatives, asking as someone who never really used Twitter much anyway?

Plex server is running on my old Threadripper 1950X. Thing has been a champ. Due to rebuild it since I’ve got newer hardware to cycle into it but been dragging my heels on it. Not looking forward to it.

Absolutely correct. CAT 5e should be able to max out at 125MB/s.
Yeah, this is true. I just like to tinker. I already pay for one AI tool for like actual use as a tool in my life. The self hosted image thing attempt was like, hey my next home lab project, let’s see how easy it is to just get an image generated from scratch with nothing currently setup! The answer I found was, "you still need more training grasshopper. Much to learn. "
