  • Von Deinem Lemmy-Account aus kannst Du keinen Einzel-Accounts (wie z.B. Mastodon) folgen, nur Gruppenaccounts (wie Lemmy-Communitys, nbin-Magazines oder auch Peertube-Kanäle) abonnieren.

    Von Mastodon aus kannst Du Deinem Lemmy-Account folgen. Dafür https://feddit.org/u/DNDnews oder @dndnews@feddit.org ins Suchfeld von Mastodon und dann folgen.

    Communitys kannst Du auf die gleiche Weise abonnieren von Mastodon aus oder auch Lemmy-Beiträge dort liken oder teilen, indem Du deren URL ins Suchfeld kopierst.

    The mastodon apps work, but generally only offer the mastodon functions. Fedilab may offer a little more.

    There is also Dhaaga: A "client for various social networking platforms and protocols.

    Yes, you can do this from almost anywhere in the Fediverse. As Mastodon does not recognise headings, the first paragraph becomes the heading. This means that it looks better on Lemmy if you put the community tag at the end of the post and start with a content-related introduction.







  • This is a really good introductory video that explains the Fediverse. Very clear, good examples and for a target group with no prior knowledge. So if you want to recommend other people to join the Fediverse, this might be a good start. There are insights into Mastodon and Pixelfed in particular… but Lemmy is also a topic in the video… (Thank you @thegiddystitcher@lemm.ee !)
